Checking the serial number of any desktop or laptop on windows operating system is very easy. You have to only type a few command in command line. Follow the below step to check your machine serial no. Please note that this command is valid only in windows computer (desktop, laptop, and server).
Step-1 => Click Start button icon on your screen's left down side.
Step-2 => Type "cmd" in search box.
Step-3 => A Command line window will open
Step-4 => Type "cd\" and press "Enter" key
Step-5 => Type "get bios serialnumber"
Step-6=> Press "Enter" button
Step7 => Serial no will be show in command prompt.
You have got serial no.
